Cooked Goose Farm – Cooked goose is a small farm run by Tovey Hallick, in the Catskill Mountain region of New York. The farm specializes in growing a variety of organic vegetables. Eat has been working with Cooked Goose for the last two years, by directly purchasing vegetables for the cafe, and hosting a CSA (community supported agriculture) program, where neighborhood residents can order a box of vegetables and pick up directly from Eat. Eat has also supported the farm through labor exchange by having community members visit the farm and work for food. |

Rooftop Farms - Rooftop Farms is an organic urban farm started in April 09 by Ben Flanner and Annie Novak on 6,000 square feet atop a warehouse in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. It grows a wide variety of vegetables in a limited amount of space, and provides the neighborhood with fresh, nutritious, vegetables. The farm has goals of sustainability, engaging the neighborhood, and promoting environmentally friendly use of green roofs. It has a farm stand on premises open to the public every Sunday in Greenpoint. |
